Hazel & Chester are the best of friends who met each other during school. Highly creative, they enjoy blueprinting new houses and planning the development of their local town.In the beaver community, Chester & Hazel work to chew down trees to create building material to house their fellow wetland creatures, and bring their architectural designs to life. When not working, they enjoy feasting on tree bark, and challenging each other to swimming races. You will often find Chester wearing his beloved handwoven hat, whilst Hazel adorns one of her brightly coloured headbands.

To create your own beaver, you will need:
> Yarn in the colours: brown, rustic brown, taupe, dark brown, cream, light orange, dark and light green, light and dark pink, white
> Crochet hook relevant to the yarn: I used a 2.5mm
> Tools: sewing needle, scissors, stitch marker, pins
> Toy Stuffing
> Safety eyes 7mm or black & white embroidery thread


Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, triple crochet, bobble stitch, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: 16 cm / 6 inch tall
