Ginger the Dingo

$ 4.00

US English pattern by Cara Engwerda.

Ginger the Dingo is a friendly little puppy. A little shy but affectionate and trusting once she gets to know you.

Difficulty: Intermediate, US terminology

You will need:
- 2.75mm hook/C-2 (US)
- 8ply yarns/DK or Light Worsted, 50g in ORANGE, less than 50g in other colours
- 9mm safety eyes
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Polyester toy stuffing
- Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:
- Amigurumi is usually stitched in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
- When changing colour, pull through the new colour on the stitch before you need it. This will ensure that you have the correct colour yarn on the hook for the upcoming stitch.
- Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
- Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished items. My Ginger is approx. 16cm tall.
- I’ve used the following yarns:
o ORANGE = Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Col. 417 Melon Sorbet
o PINK = Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Col. 454 Blush Pink
o CREAM = Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Col. 408 Vanilla Cream
o WHITE = Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Col. 403 Champagne White
o BLACK = Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK in Col. 402 Pure Black
- I have used plastic safety eyes but you may choose to embroider the eyes. Please ensure that there are no loose fittings

Stitches used: chain, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, back loops only
Measurement: 16 cm / 6.5 in
