Please note: This is a digital crochet pattern only; it does not include a finished plush product, and there are no shipping charges.

A Mandrake is the root of the plant itself called Mandragora. The mandrakes have long green leaves and produce purple flowers. Because of its hallucinogenic properties and its humanoid shaped roots, it has been associated with everything magical and their rituals since 4 000 BC.
According to many legends, when a mandrake is dug up, its scream can kill anyone that hears it. But don't worry about Jake as he is still a baby mandrake and he hasn't perfected his cream just yet!

I really hope you enjoy making Jumbo Jake the Mandrake as much as I had fun creating him!
