The mermaids pictured here were designed with my daughters in mind. With their sweet expressions, rounder tummies and tankini-style swimsuits, I wanted to give them a look fitting my young girls. They are larger dolls (about 18" from the top of the head to the tips of the tail) - perfect for playing with and cuddling.

You'll need the yarn colors pictured (worsted weight), a size E crochet hook, safety eyes, a yarn needle, stuffing, and an intermediate crochet skill level. The finished dolls are about 18" tall. Your PDF purchase includes instructions for both styles of mermaid dolls pictured here.

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, bobble stitch
