The Pocket Pet series is a set of charming palm-sized pets and their cozy "pockets" to sit in. This pattern allows you to create an adorable pug paired with a playful pocket shaped like a slice of pizza.

This pattern is written using American terminology. I designed this fun project with basic crochet stitches.

The nose and mouth are embroidered with straight stitches. There are step-by-step instructions with a lot of pictures. You only need a small amount of yarn, and any leftover yarn will do. I hope you enjoy making them as much as I enjoyed creating them!

- DK/light worsted weight acrylic yarn in beige, dark brown, cream, black, gray, pink, light caramel, red, yellow, dark red and green
- Embroidery thread in black (for embroidering mouth and nose)
- 3.5 mm crochet hook (US: E-4, UK: 9, JP: 6/0)
- 5 mm safety eyes, black
- Polyester fiberfill
- Yarn needle
- Embroidery needle



Stitches used: slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, bobble stitch, crochet into a ring, Standing SC
Measurement: 3-1/2” W X 3-1/2”H (9 cm X 9 cm)
