Gloria the hippo – Amigurumi hippopotamus
The pattern is straight forward and easy to follow. There is lots of pictures in this pattern – lots of step by step images, especially on the special parts.
Materials required:
- Yarn – I used a cotton and acrylic blend DK weight yarn; Scheepjes Soft fun. I used totally 1,5 skeins of the main color.
- Crochet hook 2.5 mm
- Fibrefill / toy stuffing
- Security eyes, 11 mm
- Stitch markers (x 4), scissor and embroidery needle
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, bobble stitch
Measurement: 22 cm / 9" tall
