Lovephant – Amigurumi elephant crochet pattern
The pattern is written in US crochet terms.
The pattern is straight forward and easy to follow. There is lots of pictures in this pattern – lots of step by step images, especially on the special parts.
On the special parts you will also find a link to my youtube tutorials.
You need to know the basic crochet skill for amigurumi, especially how to work in rounds or spiral. Some examples of stitches; single crochet, increases and decreases.
Materials required:
- Yarn – I used a light weight 100% cotton yarn, for example Hobbii Rainbow 8/4, Söstrene Greene 8/4, Drops Safron, Yarn&Colours Favorite. Have 1 skein for the main color.
- Crochet hook 2.0 mm
- Fibrefill / toy stuffing
- Safety eyes, 5 mm
- Stitch marker, scissor and embroidery needle
- Optional: textile glue for the eye white
Size: approx. 9,5 cm in height when using 2.0 hook and light weight yarn.
The pattern is a PDF and you will need Adobe Reader to open it. Adobe Reader is free to download from the internet.
