US English pattern by Irene Strange. Includes step-by-step pictures.
Ludwig The Llama loves showing off his thick fluffy coat (and teasing his best friend Ted about his super-trendy haircut!), his long funny neck and short little legs are sure to put a smile on anyone's face. You can customise the thickness and length of the coat too with a simple pattern adjustment, or mix and match different colours to create the perfect patchy look. Finished Llama made with DK yarn and 4.00mm hook will stand at 28cm/11" tall.
For an extra funny Llama try adding accessories like hats or scarves - I added a simple knitted rib pattern scarf for the pictures but a bit of felt fabric or cut out top of a wooly sock used as a cowl will work great too, llamas with haircuts do look rather cold! (Do let me know if you'd like the scarf instructions, I will message them over)
