The instructions are written in US crochet terms, with step by step photos detailing how to make the pieces and finish the toy. When made with DK weight yarn (sample made in Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK) and 3.50mm hook the finished panda will measure about 13cm/5in tall.
You will need the following materials:
Yarn: Paintbox Cotton DK - 100% Cotton 50g/125m/137yds
30gr of main colour and 15gr of contrast colour.
Small amounts of black and pink embroidery thread
3.5mm hook
8mm Black Safety Eyes
Toy Stuffing
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
Dressmakers Pins
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, (invisible) decrease, crochet into a ring, invisibly decrease 3 stitches at once
