Create easy texture by combining chenille yarn for a fluffy body and smooth DK cotton for the details. This little penguin is really quick to make and needs only small amounts of yarn. The bunting is easy to customise to fit any number of letters to match a special occasion!
The instructions are written in US crochet terms, with plenty of step-by-step photos. When made with DK weight yarns and 3.0mm and 3.5mm hook the finished penguin will measure about 12cm/5in tall.
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, crochet into a ring, invisibly decrease 3 stitches at once
