This Beginner Crochet Gnome exudes whimsy and charm with its playful, striped body and seamless construction. He’s great for using scrap yarn and is easily customized for any occasion. In the images, you'll see him worked up in worsted yarn, sport yarn, and size 10 crochet thread.

The seamless construction means only stitching the optional embellishments to the hat and then stitching the hat to the body. All other pieces are seamlessly joined as you go.

Using hook size E/4 (3.5 mm) and worsted yarn the Beginner Crochet Gnome measures approx. 5.5 inches (14 cm) tall.
Using hook size B/1 (2.25 mm) and sport yarn the Beginner Crochet Gnome measures approx. 5 inches (12.7 cm) tall.
The miniature Beginner Crochet Gnome in the images was made using Size 10 crochet thread and a 1.50 mm hook. It measures approx. 2.75 inches (7 cm) tall.
