US English pattern by Lemon Yarn Creations. Includes step-by-step pictures.
This pattern is part of the book Zoomigurumi Endangered Animals, which you can purchase here in PDF or paperback.
Cleo is a shy cockatoo on most occasions, but put her up on a stage and she will sing and dance until everyone is smiling from ear to ear. She dreams of one day performing on Broadway musicals, as long as it’s not Cats, and showing her family back home in southeast Asia that anyone can be a star.
The pattern is written in U.S. terminology. The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Cleo the Cockatoo measures approx. 18cm (7in), when using the same yarn/tools as indicated below.
