The Cherry Tortoise is the second creature in the Fruity Animals collection. It's a combination of a couple of loveable tortoises with a delicious cherry. They make the most adorable couple during love season.
The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Cherry Tortoise measures approx. 9cm (3.5in), when using the same yarn and tools indicated below.

- Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran, 100% acrylic yarn, 100g / 184m, in Green, Red, and Pink
- 4mm crochet hook
- 2 pairs of 8mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, back loops only
