The Kiwi Hermit Crab is the fourth creature in the Fruity Animals collection. It's a combination of a happy hermit crab who just found a new fuzzy home inspired by the kiwi fruit.
The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Kiwi Hermit Crab measures approx. 12cm (4.7in), when using the same yarn and tools indicated below.

- Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran, 100% acrylic yarn, 100g / 184m, in Green, Off-white, Brown
- 4mm crochet hook
- 8mm safety eyes
- Embroidery thread in black and in white
- Toy stuffing
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Wire brush (optional)
- Craft pipe cleaner wire (optional)
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, back loops only, puff stitch
