The Swan and Duckling are two adorable characters based on "The Ugly Duckling" tale by Hans Christian Andersen. From Ugly Duckling to Beautiful Swan, you'll want to dive back into the stories of your childhood with this pattern.

The main part of this project is worked in rounds so you might want to use a stitch marker to mark the end of each round. There is no specific gauge for this project, just try to keep it tight and even throughout each piece. Swan and Duckling measure approx. 10cm and 6cm (4in and 2.3in), respectively, when using the same yarn and tools indicated below.

Materials

- 100% Cotton DK Yarn in White (approx. 21g), in Grey (approx. 9g), in Orange, Black, and Dark Grey (very small amount)
- 3mm crochet hook
- 1 pair of 8mm and 6mm safety eyes
- Toy stuffing
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Craft pipe cleaner

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet
Measurement: 10cm and 6cm (4in and 2.3in)
