With this crochet pattern, you can make your very own cute stork head that’s full of charm and personality.

Hang the stork head as a decorative piece - in a nursery, a kids’ room, or any other space for a touch of whimsy. But if you’re looking for something more functional, follow the included instructions to crochet a cover for the L-bracket and attach it to the bottom of the stork’s head. You’ve got yourself a cute little hanger, perfect for holding small bags, toys, scarves, jewelry or even a baby’s onesie. Play with yarn and choose colors that match the colors of your room.

To be able to hang heavy items, attach the covered L-bracket to the wall with the screw. You can also use a store-bought fancy hook and hang it below the stork head. Looks really cool too.

Finished size: If made with sport-weight yarn and a 2.5mm hook, your stork head wall mount will be approximately 19 cm (7.5 inches) long, measured from the base to the tip of the beak.

• a pair of 9 mm black eyes
• a piece of cardboard or plastic (a lid of food packaging)
• stitch marker, tapestry needle, scissors and sewing pins
• L-bracket (to make a wall hook)
