Say Hello to Edwardo. This elephant is constructed around a ring so that the head, legs and tail all move. You can put the elephant in a flat, standing or sitting position, as well as many others. If making for a child, the ring is a great shape for little hands to grab.

This pattern is written with US crochet notation and is an intermediate pattern, some crochet knowledge of basic stitches is required.

Using the materials suggested this elephant measures 18 cm (7 in). Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate size crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished toy. Suggested materials: DK (8ply) 100% cotton yarn, 2.5mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a small toy rattle (optional).
