Say hello to Sebastian, he is rather slothful and he just loves to hang around either lazily watching the world pass by or he is fast asleep. Sebastian is an amigurumi sloth which can sit or hang pretty much anywhere (he has snap fasteners in his hands so you can clip him to things).

This pattern is written with US crochet notation and is an advanced beginner pattern, some crochet knowledge of basic stitches is required.

Using the materials suggested this sloth is 17cm (7 inches) tall. Any yarn can be used with this pattern with an appropriate sized crochet hook to create a tight tension, although other yarns may affect the size of the finished sloth. Suggested materials: DK (8ply) wool or cotton yarn, 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, 9mm safety eyes and sew on snap fasteners (or other fastening to close the hands e.g. Velcro)
