Louie is the monkey that all this little monkeys learn from and look up to. He loves teaching them how to swing from the branches and how to play jokes on the other monkeys. You can create your own Louie the Monkey with this pattern.
This pattern is written in US terminology. Louie the Monkey is mainly worked in the round and is made using the "x" technique (yarn under/yarn over).
Materials you'll need:
- Yarn- Red Heart Super Saver and Red Heart Super Saver Stripes
- Hook size- 5 mm or hooks that matches the yarn used.
- Black embroidery thread
- Toy stuffing
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Darning needle
- Wire or pipe cleaner (optional)
Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain
Measurement: 10.5 inches/25 centimeters
