Louie’s favorite food is watermelon. One night he went to bed and dreamt of becoming a watermelon. To his surprise when he woke up the next morning, he found himself inside a watermelon and he looked like one too!! Louie’s dream had come true.

This pattern is written in US terminology. Watermelon Louie is mainly worked in the round. Watermelon Louie is made using the "x" technique (yarn under/yarn over).

Materials you'll need:
- Yarn- Hobbii Amigo (Pink, Pool Green, Ecru, Black, Mint) and Amigo XL (Pink, Pool Green, Mint)
- Hook size- 3 mm for monkey and 4.5 mm for the watermelon (or a hook that matches the yarn used- for the watermelon, a larger size yarn/hook needs to be used, so your monkey fits).
- 9 mm safety eyes
- Ribbon
- Toy stuffing
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Darning needle
- Wire or pipe cleaner (optional)

Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, back loops only, front loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, fastening off in the invisible way
Measurement: 4 inches / 10 centimeters
