The size of the finished toy may vary according to the yarn thickness, the hook size, and your tension.
The size of the toys I made:
- Chick with hat: 5.5 cm tall
- Chick without hat: 5 cm tall
- Egg: 6 cm tall
- Parade cars: 30 cm long. Front car is 8 cm long and 4 cm tall, egg shell is about 7 cm wide and 3 cm tall, car for the egg is about 5.5 cm wide and 2 cm tall

Tools and Materials needed:
- 2.5 mm hook
- 5 mm safety eyes
- 6 buttons, 12 mm in diameter each
- Cotton yarn in sport weight
- Fiberfill
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Safety pins
- Stitch markers or scraps of yarn for markers
