During the cool days of autumn, as you wander through the forest, keep an eye out for this little autumn sprite. With wings made of oak leaves and an acorn cap on his head, he walks through the golden foliage carpeting the forest floor. This sprite carries an important responsibility. With great care, he gently places each discovered acorn into the soil, ensuring their peaceful rest throughout the winter months. And when spring finally arrives, the places where the acorn sprite once tread will come alive with the sight of new sprouts emerging from the earth.

To create this little acorn sprite you will need:

- Crochet hook 2.00mm
- Cotton fingering (4 ply) yarn (up to 6 colours)
- Stuffing
- Black safety eyes (5mm)
- Buttons x 1 (wooden)
- Stitch markers/scrap yarn for stitch count
- Pointy yarn needle
- Scissors
- Sewing pins


Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet
