In the heart of a tranquil lagoon resides a water sprite, a tiny embodiment of aquatic magic. This little sprite possesses a special ability, she is able to communicate with the creatures of the sea. For some creatures, she communicates through dance, while for others she reaches out and holds their fin. However, there exists one special creature with whom she communicates through tender kisses planted affectionately on her cheek. These petite fish, adorned in vibrant hues, wide eyes, and squished lips, formed a closed bond with this water sprite. Hand in fin, they traveled through winding streams and along the rocky coastlines, harmoniously exploring the world that they share.

To create this water sprite you would need:

- Crochet hook 2.00mm
- Cotton fingering (4 ply) yarn (up to 5 colours)
- Stuffing
- Black safety eyes (5mm)
- Stitch markers/scrap yarn for stitch count
- Pointy yarn needle
- Scissors
- Sewing pins
- Steam iron (optional)


Stitches used: chain, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet
Measurement: 24 cm (9.4 inches) tall with tail
