The Typhochlaena seladonia, also known as the Brazilian Jewel, is a highly admired species of tarantula! Create your own gem of the arachnids for yourself or your favorite spider fanatic!

• Written in English using US terms.
• Full color PDF with picture assistance as well as a text only formatted section for printing ease.
• While I have done my best to make her construction clear, this pattern is intermediate to advanced in difficulty and previous crochet and amigurumi skills are needed to complete. There is wiring within the legs, and shaping and seeming of multiple pieces involved. Pattern includes short video clips for some more details joining locations.
• Colorwork consists of color changes, and pattern includes graphs for the abdomen and head designs.

• Uses Worsted weight (4) yarn and a 3.5mm hook. *optional* scrubby yarn for leg details. Photos shown are created using Hobbii Metallico and Premier Basix Worsted.
• You will need 10mm safety eyes.
• Also uses a 16 gauge wire (for legs), yarn needle, stitch markers, & scissors. * optional pet slicker brush to add extra fluff*
