Amigurumi pattern of Kiwi the siamese mouse and the Poppy. The crochet tutorial, with written instructions and numerous pictures of the steps, shows you how to make the mouse and the poppy in two different sizes. Kiwi has posable arms, legs and tail, thanks to a little trick.
Kiwi the mouse is a single piece, crocheted from the bottom up. The paws, the tail, and the head are joined to the body as you proceed. The ears are sewn later.
YARN AND HOOKS
You can use any cotton yarn, the size of the finished amigurumi and flower will vary according to its thickness and the number of the crochet hook.
Using Sport weight yarn (e.g. Anchor Creativa Fino) and a 2.75 mm hook, the mouse Kiwi will be approximately 5 1/2” (14 cm) tall and the poppy diameter will be 2 1/4” and 3” (6 and 8 cm).
Using Fingering weight yarn (e.g. Torre Cablè 5) and a 2.00 mm hook, the mouse Kiwi will be approximately 4” (11 cm) tall and the poppy diameter will be 2” and 2 3/4” (5 and 7 cm).
