April the spring girl - Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Meet April. Her favourite season is spring. Finally, flowers starts to blossom and the sun shines more frequently. In spring the weather can change rapidly, but April has everything she needs to deal with it. Her cute umbrella in case it starts to rain and her rainbow earmuffs that keep her warm even when a harsh wind blows. And don´t forget her Bolero, which can be worn in 3 different ways!

*INTERMEDIATE LEVEL*

MATERIALS REQUIRED :
- sport weight yarn
- 2.0 mm crochet hook (or in accordance with the yarn you use)
- 2.5 mm crochet hook for the hair (recommended)
- Fiberfill for stuffing
- A pair of safety eyes (6mm)
- Scissors, yarn needle, stitch markers, glue, tape, brush
- Wire (I used 1mm diameter steel wire from a local hardware store)
- Fake Eye lashes (I used cheap ones from a local drugstore)
- Brush paint for cheeks
- Pins for temporarily pinning the hair





Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, (invisible) decrease, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, puff stitch, crochet into a ring
