This is Diva Marylin, the new rising shooting star. She makes a great figure at the beach with her curvy figure. She is ladylike and yet very playful. Her friend the swan princess helps Marylin to make elegant dancing poses. They both dreams of a career as a stage actor.


*INTERMEDIATE LEVEL*

MATERIALS REQUIRED :
- sport weight yarn
- 2.0 mm crochet hook (or in accordance with the yarn you use)
- 2.5 mm crochet hook for the hair (recommended)
- Fiberfill for stuffing
- A pair of safety eyes (6mm)
- Scissors, yarn needle, stitch markers, glue, tape, brush
- Wire (I used 1mm diameter steel wire from a local hardware store)
- Fake Eye lashes (I used cheap ones from a local drugstore)
- Brush paint for cheeks
- Pins for temporarily pinning the hair
- Red and gold Embroidery floss





Stitches used: chain, slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, increase, half double crochet, double crochet, back loops only, front loops only, starting an oval piece with a foundation chain, crochet into a ring
