Layna is a magical unicorn princess. She has the power to heal and uses her abilities to help animals, big and small.

When she is not busy helping hurt animals, Layna likes to visit her friend Zara, the fire unicorn princess. Together, they like to make strawberry shortcake and drink tea.

Now you can make your own magical unicorn.

This pattern uses thin thread but if you are not used to working with threads and small hooks, yarn will work too.

MATERIALS:
1. Crochet thread - Oren Bayan cotton perle size 12 (various colors)

If you cannot find Oren Bayan cotton perle 12 thread, you can substitute with Lizbeth 40, DMC cotton perle size 12, or DMC single strand floss. Note that Lizbeth is not as soft and if you are using it for the doll and outfit, you will still need DMC cotton perle or floss for the hair.

2.Mohair yarn (lace weight)

3.Crochet hooks:
a.Clover Japan – 0.9 mm
b.Clover Amour – 1.50 mm

4. Polyester stuffing

This pattern is easy to follow but requires basic crochet knowledge. You should be familiar with:
- crocheting in rounds (or spiral)
- crochet in rows
- color change
- single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, chain
- increasing
- invisible decrease
- securing stitches
- finishing amigurumi
