This crocheted hen is not only an Easter decoration, she will brighten your home:-) You can decorate your children's room or place it on your table, anywhere you want. It's such fun to make this cheerful decoration. I am pretty sure, that you will not make only one :-)

This pattern is written in standard American (US) terms, in the English language, 11 pages of step-by-step instruction and plenty pictures, for successful completing of your work.

YOU WILL NEED:
• fine yarn/ sport/ 5 ply/ 12 wpi (link where to buy it included)
• hook 3 mm for sport yarn / US 5/0
• toy filling
• buttons and ribbon

YARN:
I used: Kacenka by Nitarna Ceska Trebova.
The mixture of 60% cotton 40% acrylic, Yarn weight: Sport / 5 ply (12 wpi). Yardage: 164 yards (150 meters) per 50g ball. Gauge: 26.0 sts = 4 inches. You will need about 25 g/ 82 yards of yarn totally.

THE DIMENSION OF FINISHED HEN . . . . . .
the hen is approximately 4.8 inches/13 cm tall (measured with the comb and without ribbon tail), approximately 2.7 inches/7 cm width, and about 6.7 inches/17 cm long – measured with the bill. Please remember, that the size of finished hen depends on the used material and your own style of crocheting.
